Where do our runners come from?

The runners from our collection mainly come from the Anatolian part of Turkey and are handmade. This method of manufacture ensures that the runners will last for generations. Our vintage runners undergo the same treatment as most of our rugs. The runners used are first sheared: approximately 80% of the wool is removed. Dust and stains are often on the surface and shaving removes these impurities. The runners are then thoroughly washed, dried and, if necessary, professionally repaired. We then select the most beautiful specimens. Before the runners reach our customers, we once again subject them to a thorough quality inspection. With us you will only find authentic runners whose origins we have been able to trace.
