We usually supplement our collection every week with new, beautiful rugs. By default, our product overview shows the newest rugs at the top. A rug that has recently been added to our collection will be labeled "new" for a week. This way you can immediately see what has recently been added.

A rug does not require much maintenance if you use it normally. We recommend vacuuming the rug regularly with a normal vacuum cleaner. If desired, you can use fabric freshener. Beating it out and airing it once every six months will certainly do the rug good. If you have a stain in your carpet, it is best to look online to see what you can do best. Every stain needs a different treatment.

First of all, dab the stain with water and, if necessary, a little cleaning vinegar or soap. Don't use too much. After dabbing, you can let it dry thoroughly. You can then reassess the stain and search the internet for what to do about a particular stain. Coffee stains require a different treatment than, for example, wine stains.

We ship most of our rugs folded as a package. We do this to avoid high shipping costs that we then have to pass on to our customers.

If the rug has just been removed from the packaging, it may contain folds. Rest assured, these creases will disappear quickly after you lay the rug down. You can rub it flat with your hand if necessary. Most creases disappear almost immediately, and within a few days all creases will be gone.

Almost all our rugs are unique pieces of which there is only one. It is therefore not possible to order a specific rug in a different size. We can see if we can get a comparable rug in your desired size. In that case, please contact us.

As soon as we receive your order, the rug will automatically be reserved for you on our website. No one else can order it anymore. We will prepare, pack and send your shipment.

We will provide you with a Track and Trace code with which you can track your shipment. As a rule, we ship your rug within 1 to 2 working days. In many cases it will be delivered the next working day, but sometimes it can take a little longer. Please refer to your tracking code.

We ship the rug by insured and registered mail. This means that only you or your roommate can receive the rug and must sign for it. The postal service cannot deliver it to your neighbors unless you indicate this yourself by leaving a note on the door.

Are you not at home? Then the driver will come by again the next day. If you are not at home, the driver will deliver the package to the nearest collection point. You will then receive a note in your mailbox with the address. You can pick it up there with an ID. We package the rugs in such a way that in most cases they are handy packages.

What is the difference between handmade and machine made rug – Lavinta

It goes without saying that you have a warranty on all rugs you buy from us. Our warranty is valid for six months and starts from the date you receive the order.

Do you have damage to your rug? We will then first determine the cause of the damage. If the damage is indeed covered by the warranty, we will reimburse all costs of repair (including any shipping costs). If you refer to the warranty and it is determined that the damage was caused by misuse by the customer, the customer must pay the cost of any repairs.

Our rugs are all handmade. Handmade rugs can have natural imperfections.
For example, a rug may not be perfectly straight or there may be small imperfections and wear that give the rug that unique look compared to a machine-made rug. Choosing a handmade rug is often a conscious choice; people are looking for something unique, something real, something with a history, and something that is not so perfect. You see that and you feel that!

No other item can quickly give a room a completely different look or appearance than a beautiful rug.
A rug can therefore sometimes make an overwhelming impression in your room. Place the cloth quietly in the intended location and leave it there for a while. There may still be a crease in the rug, or the room may look a bit busier. Do not panic! In most cases, you will quickly get used to the new carpet. Any
creases will also disappear quickly.

If you still have doubts after a few days, remove the rug. In many
cases you will notice that your room looks very bare, and you will quickly want to  replace the rug. And if you still believe that the rug is not the right one, you can of course return it to us.
