Maintenance of handmade wool

Our turquoise vintage rugs are made of wool — naturally dirt-repellent, colorfast, and durable. Regular vacuuming (without a beater bar) is sufficient; always blot stains immediately with a clean white cloth (never rub). Direct sunlight can lighten turquoise in the long run — preferably do not place the rug in bright sunlight or rotate it 1-2 times a year for even wear and color retention. With this basic care, a vintage wool rug can easily last for decades.
