A raspberry red field with an ivory white medallion and soft green corners: this hand-knotted vintage rug from Turkey was later overdyed, and you can see that in the way the red shifts from cherry red to a faded old rose from one strip to the next.
The medallion is finely drawn, with small tendrils and flowers in grey-blue and sand-beige growing outwards from the heart. The border is the most surprising part: a wide band in sage and olive green, filled with cream-coloured flowers and small hooks. Red and green opposite each other is a bold combination, and precisely because both colours have been softened by the wash, it works here.
The pile is low-cut, so that the pattern remains sharp and the knot is visible. At 265 by 185 centimetres, this is a spacious rug that can accommodate an entire seating area, with the sofa and armchairs placed with their front legs on it.

All items purchased from us come with a 6-month warranty, starting from the date you received the order.
Do you have a problem with the rug? Please contact us. You can send the product to us so that we can assess it and repair or have the product repaired, replace the product, or refund the costs. If it appears that the damage was caused by misuse by the customer, the costs for any repair will be borne by the customer.
If it turns out that the damage is indeed covered by the warranty, we will also reimburse any shipping costs afterwards.
