A deep bottle-green field with a large ivory-white medallion in the middle: this hand-knotted vintage rug from Turkey shows its original design through the new colour. The wool was knotted decades ago, later washed and re-dyed, causing the green to appear almost black-green in some places and brightening to moss-green in others.
The medallion and corner pieces are in off-white and sand beige, with curling tendrils in olive and warm brown. Around it runs a band with terracotta rosettes and small green leaves, bordered with a fine pearl edge. These cream-coloured parts have hardly taken on the over-dyeing, and that is precisely what makes this rug so lively: the green is the ground, the ivory is the design.
The pile is low-cut, so the knots remain visible and the pattern stands out sharply. At 220 by 130 centimetres, the rug looks good next to a bed, under a coffee table or in a study, where the green immediately adds colour to the room against light wood or a white wall.

Please contact us at info@lavinta.nl before returning a product. We will then send you the instructions by email. Upon receipt, we will transfer the due amount within a few working days. Of course, we assume that you will return the rug in the same state and condition as you received it from us.
All items purchased from us come with a 6-month warranty, starting from the date you received the order.
Do you have a problem with the rug? Please contact us. You can send the product to us so that we can assess it and repair or have the product repaired, replace the product, or refund the costs. If it appears that the damage was caused by misuse by the customer, the costs for any repair will be borne by the customer.
If it turns out that the damage is indeed covered by the warranty, we will also reimburse any shipping costs afterwards.
