A deep plum-purple field features a large ivory medallion that lies like a patch of light in the middle of the rug. This hand-knotted vintage rug from Turkey was knotted decades ago and washed and recolored much later; as a result, the purple in one section almost turns aubergine, while elsewhere it brightens to soft violet.
The wide border is a story in itself. On a soft blue background, ochre-yellow tendrils curl, and between them are bright pink flowers that have barely taken on the overdyed color. Small triangles in cobalt and cream run along the edges, and the original ivory ground remains clearly visible there. It is precisely this contrast between the dark heart and the light, floral border that makes the rug more vibrant than a uniformly purple rug could ever be.
The pile is low-cut, so that the knot remains visible and the design stands out sharply. At 230 by 115 centimeters, it is a narrow, elongated rug that fits well alongside a bed or follows a seating area lengthwise.

Please contact us at info@lavinta.nl before returning a product. We will then send you the instructions by email. Upon receipt, we will transfer the due amount within a few working days. Of course, we assume that you will return the rug in the same state and condition as you received it from us.
All items purchased from us come with a 6-month warranty, starting from the date you received the order.
Do you have a problem with the rug? Please contact us. You can send the product to us so that we can assess it and repair or have the product repaired, replace the product, or refund the costs. If it appears that the damage was caused by misuse by the customer, the costs for any repair will be borne by the customer.
If it turns out that the damage is indeed covered by the warranty, we will also reimburse any shipping costs afterwards.
